Examples of medical conditions in this group:

- Isolated insomnia
Sleep disorders is a group of illnesses that comprises insomnia, parasomnia (nightmares), sleep-related breathing disorders and circadian-rhythm sleep-wake disorders. Insomnia is the most common sleep disorders in cannabis users and it can be isolated or associated with another disease (Obstructive sleep apnea, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, etc.). There is low to moderate evidence that supports the use of cannabis in insomnia associated with chronic pain, anxiety, fibromyalgia and PTSD (Nurmikko et al., 2007, Rog et al., 2005, Vaney et al., 2004, Wade et al., 2004).
We strongly suggest you to speak with your primary physician or specialist before starting cannabis.
